CGS-40 Glue Pattern Sensor
Valco’s corrugated package also offers the CGS-40 gate sensor for glue inspection. Equipped with a large sensing window, the CGS-40 utilizes dual sensing plates for detection of adhesive on the top and bottom sides of the board. The CGS-40 verifies adhesive integrity for positioning, volume and length. No adhesive additives are necessary. Due to the gate-style design and non-contact configuration, no adjustments are necessary when running top or bottom glue laps. |

Valco’s new 500 series glue valves feature advanced solenoid technology for short glue patterns at high machine speeds. They also feature an adjustable flow rate for precise glue volume control. Unique to the 500 series is the ability to easily convert between non-contact and contact glue patterns. Simply change the output nozzle to the type of glue pattern desired. |

A single 500 valve can be used for patterns from a single bead width up to 12 beads at 2-3/4 in. (70mm) wide. Compact valve/bracket packages easily permit installation into space-restricted areas to insure proper target point for the required glue pattern. Features include a built-in purge/test switch and contain a carbide-tipped plunger assembly for long service life. The 500 series valves can be operated with a range of adhesives; at pressures up to 500 psi and viscosities up to 4500 cps |
